Hey rear end in a top hat, if you bundle up the way that you should in an environment that “requires” remote start, then it won’t be so critical. But hey, maybe it’s because I don’t have a loving cargo’s van worth of empty space to heat. lol its amazing what draws out the nuts

https://www.audubon.org/magazine/winter-2021/the-internet-has-rat-poison-problem Here's a chilling failure of capitalism allowing literally anyone to buy extremely potent industrial grade rat poison online from Amazon. I myself have ordered from diypestcontrol.com before. I live in scorpion country and use one of the sprays there outdoors. Tip of the hat to Sears/Kmart for their response to the journalist

Anyway locally we have a chain of DIY pest control stores that will just straight up sell you the nastiest industrial pest killers they are legally capable of selling so lol. Their radio ad is something like "Save money and use the same stuff as the pros yourself!" which always vaguely sounded like they were implying you use it like drugs.

Our discussion of joel stein's incredible article about millenials made me research the guy, and when he left in 2017 he posted a goodbye article that I think was meant to be funny, but is one of the saddest things I've read. https://time.com/5027064/hello-i-must-be-going/ The article, and his tenure at time, began with a time science reporter angrily posting a note outside their office saying that joel stein was bringing down the quality of the time magazine news room. The article, and his tenure at time, ended with his boss saying that he hired joel stein to bring down the quality of the time magazine news room. This guy is a bojack horseman character and he doesn't even know it.
