I hope they tape a Raw in my town, I would love to see how WWE production works and how they manage to change refs in between matches. I really hate the view that “Card subject to change” is an excuse to false advertise. It’s really intended for circumstances beyond the promoters control. I am not sure if there were injuries in this case but if not, then it’s lovely to promote a match that you don’t intend to deliver.

The whole build to Bianca getting squashed by Becky was WWE advertising a match with Sasha Banks despite knowing for like a full month in advance she wouldn't be there.

I appreciate that this isn't the usual flavor of bad take for this thread. This guy isn't expressing a horrible view or justifying something gross/bad. It's fine if you like Mandy Rose, hell there might even be some point in comparing her to The Miz (I dunno because I don't watch WWE) But saying Mandy Rose 'doesn't fit the mould' for WWE is like the purest wrong statement. It's just false. It's not coming from a broken worldview or defensiveness or any other psychological flaw. It's simply not true.

i do think that scripting promos exist in part because of corporate branding. you don't want anyone saying something that could hurt the brand, but i also think that even if vince had zero oversight, we'd still have scripted promos because he's a control freak
