I'm not super familiar with the Briscoes: what a terrifying presence they have -- it feels very authentic. Just like Eddie Kingston, I feel like his character is intrinsically wrapped up with his actual life. Like Eddie reminds me of an owner of one of those really seedy "cafes" (dive bars), that regularly has to beat the poo poo out of people. The Briscoes remind me of the last people you meet when you take the wrong turn down a country road at night. Compelling!
