I work in food manufacture. Properly washed and sanitised hands are considered as good as gloves. It takes longer to wash hands then to change gloves, OTOH people wearing gloves have a tendency to handle something other than food then go right back to handling food whereas barehanded people will wash.

The demo crew spent half the day with their chainsaws on weed wacker poles cutting beams and hooked the barn up to a big truck with a chain. They pulled, only half the barn fell over.
