I did it! I survived the storm! But now I either have a cold, the flu, or covid. Finding a place to get tested currently is  but I'm medically retired and I don't have to/want to go anywhere so it's not like I'm spreading it to anyone anyway.No fever, but I feel essentially the same as I did when I got covid 1.0 in Barcelona in January 2020; mind fog, tired and weak, general malaise. I can still smell and taste but it's "off", appetite's pretty much gone but no fever. I am starting to sweat though, and covid 1.0 was very nasty to me with the sweats and chills but again, who knows. my sister caught it before the peak scare in '19 and she says she still can't smell much of anything and that her sense of taste is similarly hosed. surely that's not permanent

Yeah, it's not a high from weed feeling, it's like walking around with mental blinders on- I have to really focus on remembering what I was doing/going to do. Pretty much the same feeling you get when you have a fever, minus the sweating. It's not constant, it just pops up from time to time. |
