Been super behind since the holidays, here are the fantasy rules: Please enter your draft in the following format: Y/O: rikishi1 rikishi2 rikishi3 S/K: rikishi1 rikishi2 rikishi3 M1-5: rikishi1 rikishi2 rikishi3 M6-10: rikishi1 rikishi2 rikishi3 M11+: rikishi1 rikishi2 rikishi3 If you've never played Fantasy before, check out the rules. In brief: just choose 3 guys at each rank, and you'll be drafted a team of dudes. That's all you really need to do, although you can trade during the first week if you want (most people don't). It's really fun and helps you get more familiar with lower-ranked guys. Get your draft picks in by Saturday night Pacific time so I can do the draft for Sunday! I hope omicron spread doesn’t flare up. With how easily it can spread I’d be worried about one positive turning into multiple turning into a suspended basho. But obviously health comes first, sport second which is why I was a little bummed to hear that there won’t be a mass test before this basho because they did one in December (per chris sumo).

This spurred me to look at Japan's cases graph and the curve is turning bad but the numbers are low (7 day average of 450 cases according to Google). The biggest risk is always going to be having the fans and associated staff in the building since they would have worse testing and unknown status. Hopefully everything goes okay or they rip cord it early enough.
