people itt thinking fusion power is an unlimited source of energy its not, only in comparison in relative terms to fission. If china succeeds in pioneering the two thorium salt reactors that will be a big prototypical example for 'clean' fission and a clear advancement in energy science but the tokamak isn't yet scalable, although it would own if it led to further developments it's just a matter of when and "will poo poo not get hosed in various ways by climate change" before that point. fusion takes so much energy its nearly impossible to conceive of in conventional terms, but if there is a random particle physicist itt it would be great if they had time to effort post about why.
