sorry to derail (to be honest i mostly just kibbutz rather than contribute tweets, i'm one of those fuckers) but why in the hell are rapid tests so scarce in the states? or are they not, if you pay out the rear end to buy them privately? when i need rapid tests i walk up to a guy at a folding table in the park, say my postcode and he hands me a 7 pack no questions asked. well one time he handed me a 20 pack. the UK has supply issues as well (pharmacies are supposed to have them and basically stopped getting shipments) but they've been more or less available.

I guess he figured it would be better for his various ownership class cronies if people could freely test for covid rather than staying home from work whenever they get a cough? Which then begs the question why the gently caress hasn't the US made the same calculation? This distinction is puzzling.

A bunch of his mates, a bunch of cabinet ministers' mates, and literally people that a minister met in the pub and liked the look of, have made a lot of money from contracts to supply test kits and PPE over the course of the pandemic (contracts that most of them went on to underdeliver on and run off with the money). Don't worry, people have still got rich off of other people's suffering, business as usual!

I played it decades ago as a child with my dad on pencil and paper. You could play it like that, or by any number of electronic communication methods with an endless number of words. The limit is only your imagination!
