my god, matrix 4 blew rear end. i honestly don't remember much about the first matrix movie, let alone the rest of that trilogy, but i remember it at least being fun and looking cool. even the action sequences were bad in this one, just marvel-esque boredom and working around the fact that keanu is too old to carry an action movie. that's ignoring the plot which was just 90% incomprehensible exposition and character moments for what amounts to extras. i don't care about - and i had to look up their names - sati, sequoia, sheperd, berg, lexy, bugs or any of those central casting losers. why would a scene where you fire bullets at a guy whose main deal it has been established is stopping bullets be in any way suspenseful??? why were there cutesy robot sidekicks? anyway, i know you goons love this slop, so a pre-emptive suck my dick

I am partial to the interpretation of Lana just chaos dunking the matrix into the trash (metaphorically, she wanted to bring back Neo and Trinity for her own personal reasons though) in order to kill WB's own spinoffs in the cradle.
