luffy is the chosen one because he doesnt want to be the chosen one, he just wants parties and meat. i still think the person joyboy/roger was waiting for is someone who would have all of the power in the world and choose not to exercise it. thats why luffy's gotta be pirate king. he just wants to party even if he has 3 ancient weapons and is the strongest person alive.
