Had a chance to watch the new Kirby trailer, and whoa! This game looks extremely good. Like its shot to the top of my most hyped games of 2022 list. It looks and reminds me so much of Mario Odyssey, which is my favorite Mario game ever. So I am really hyped for this now.

Whether or not BotW is a "port", Nintendo at least learned their lesson from Twilight Princess and crippled both versions of the game so that years later people can't go back and say the Wii U version was clearly definitive.

It's kinda true tho. The entire concept of a "Sheika Slate" is clearly designed around a WiiU gamepad and they stripped all second screen map/inventory functionality from the WiiU version so that it was equal of the Switch version.
