"I would have won the race but for that."

He is, and it's a shame that the Lions hosed up his injury diagnosis, he was developing into a pretty good OT and now someone else will get him.

A bit harsh. He had a back issue and the doctors did misdiagnose at first, and delayed the surgery he needed, but the Lions paid his full salary rather than cutting him in camp and doing an injury settlement.

Popular Mexican restaurant on west side, don't want to say much more. He's pretty low key. Here with his family

Larry McCarren is a regular here too, wonder if he recommended it to AJ

We're jammed tonight as usual for home game weekends, so many people flying into town for the game in two days

I think I'd tell players to avoid restaurants days before the game, but I don't think the NFL would keep anyone with covid out of the lineups anyways.

Aaron Rodgers is fulfilling the stereotype even more than he knows!

quote:

SITTING IN WHAT has become the most famous living room in football, sipping a scotch and wearing a half-zip with a Masters logo, Aaron Rodgers couldn't stop grinning.

Peyton Manning and Eli Manning had just asked him, as part of their ManningCast that streams during Monday Night Football, what some of the books were on the bookshelf behind him. What had he been reading? Rodgers, who frequently does interviews from his home, with his bookshelf in the background, was happy to share his tastes with the world.

"I've got 'Atlas Shrugged' here by Ayn Rand," Rodgers said, trying hard to suppress a smile. The look on his face was a fairly obvious tell, especially to those who watch him being interviewed weekly. But this was intended for a different audience.

The truth? He'd never read "Atlas Shrugged." Rodgers wasn't even aware of how to properly pronounce Rand's first name. He picked it because it was the book with the biggest spine on his bookshelf. He suspected that alone might annoy certain people.

the large spine on Atlas Shrugged also makes it quite useful for propping up your lovely Ikea bed in college when one of the legs breaks. also if you have a window that doesn't stay up on its own. many uses for atlas shrugged and its girth

He's one of the coaches I'd be good with but don't think he stands a chance. Would also be fine with Daboll or Flores. Could maybe get talked into Frazier or Caldwell, but would need to know who they are bringing with.

Is there any truth that Dorsey will follow Daboll wherever he goes?
