Hasbro's monetization of MtG knows no bounds.... I expect NFT links to MtG by the end of 2022. Its the serpent eating its tail really. It's what propped up Bitcoin through the initial fad phase, I fully expect it to prop up the NFT market past the fad phase if they jump in from the corporate side.

There's also the issue that even people with actual addiction issues deserve safe and effective pain relief, even if they're also presently/formerly addicted to one or more drugs. I don’t especially care for Alice’s contribution to Trashfuture and I don’t listen to her other podcasts, but ultimately it is a good tech skeptical podcast, and covers UK aspects occasionally, which I find helpful. I like listening to it despite her contribution, which is largely a sort of “terminally online edgy leftist who too often beats a joke into the ground while interrupting more interesting points” but isn’t present enough to fully put me off. If people have other suggestions then please post them.

Yeah Alice has issues, but overall most of the podcasts Alice is on are good, so I don't know if Alice herself is a good reason not to listen, and most of these podcasts have sketchy characters hosting them, its almost unavoidable.
