Regardless of what really happened to Jack, he should make it a part of his persona that he escaped from a Mexican prison.

He should constantly be trying to evade Andrade and Jose who he THINKS are trying to turn him in, when in reality they have no idea who he is.

I know Covid is a huge factor but it is hard to think of a wrestler who’s cooled off more over the course of a year than Jay White.

Headlined Wrestle Kingdom, has the weird free agent story that had a ton of buzz but went nowhere, won the NEVER title then almost immediately hosed off to America, had the weird Bullet Club: Generational Civil War standoff with Omega on Impact that went nowhere, did a string of New Japan USA shows and dropped the NEVER belt as soon as they could get someone worthwhile to America, and now he’s just occasionally working Strong and competing in an Impact eight-man match with someone called “Madman Fulton.” What a ride

i think he just must not want to work/travel much during a pandemic, which is fair. the impact/strong tapings are at least a block of matches at once and the njpw touring shows are infrequent enough

it's really funny to me that the only indie he's worked was a loving warrior wrestling show where he had a 12 minute singles match with sam adonis though

Impact tapings from today

quote:

BTI: Eddie Edwards defeated Big Kon (formerly Konnor from The Ascension)
BTI: Laredo Kid defeated Blake Christian

-Jake Something defeated Chris Bey. Post-match, the Guerrillas of Destiny ran out and attacked Something. "Speedball" Mike Bailey and Jay White made the save.
-The Ring of Honor "Honor No More" faction came out from ringside which brought out Chris Sabin, Rhino, Rich Swann and Josh Alexander. Scott D'Amore came out and got into a confrontation with Maria Kanellis-Bennett. PCO vs. Sabin was then made in addition to a five-on-five match at No Surrender where if the ROH faction wins, they can stay in Impact.
-Gail Kim and all the Knockouts came out. Kim put over Mickie James and her participation in the WWE Royal Rumble. This eventually broke down in a fight between Tasha Steelz and Savannah Evans against Knockouts Champion Mickie James and Chelsea Green.
-JONAH defeated Johnny Swinger
-W. Morrissey defeated The Learning Tree in a handicap match
-PCO defeated Chris Sabin. Eddie Edwards was last out for the post-match brawl between Impact and ROH, but never got physical with any of the ROH crew.
-Matt Cardona defeated Jordynne Grace for the Digital Media title
-ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham defeated Steve Maclin by DQ after Maclin refused to let go of a rope break. Ian Riccaboni, Bobby Cruise and Cary Silkin were on commentary.
-Josh Alexander defeated Vincent. After the match, ROH's Kenny King did a run in to attack Alexander and is now aligned with the ROH faction.
-Bhupinder Gujjar defeated John Skyler
-Masha Slamovich defeated Kaci Lennox
-Deonna Purrazzo defeated Santana Garrett
-Knockouts Champion Mickie James and Chelsea Green went to a no contest when Tasha Steelz and Savannah Evans interfered
-Bullet Club (Jay White, Chris Bey, Guerrillas of Destiny) defeated Ace Austin, Madman Fulton, Jake Something and "Speedball" Mike Bailey. After the match, the Good Brothers and Violent by Design laid out the Bullet club. Something subbed in for X-Division Champion Trey Miguel who wasn't on the show.

THE MOST EXCITING MASCOT IN THE LAST 4000 YEARS OF COLLEGE SPORTS

Penta v Yuta was maybe my favorite match of the night, including Rampage. Acclaimed/Gunns vs DO was also really fun. Sonny and Solo had a good match as well. Archer had a very enjoyable squash, pretty funny, he's great at heeling crowd work. The main was Jungle Boy vs Comoroto which was fine. The main they taped on Wednesday was Hobbs and Ricky vs Sydal and Moriarty which was a little bit of a letdown. Hobbs fought Lee Johnson today in what was a pretty sloppy match (~4 botches I think)
