I guess the one thing that is good out of the antiwork situation is that most people are making GBS threads on anarchists now on the subreddit. It might be just online but I've been seeing increasing resistance to the horizontalist bullshit that has dominated the Left for the past 30 years (in North America at least.

that cartoonist must have been pissed at Stokely Carmichael and the Panthers here's the original page. i can't confirm it but posts online say it's from 1968, so it's explicitly an attack on the Panthers and similar orgs.  The socialist labor party were pretty anti-tankie, so it's funny that they are being banned from the anti-tankie sub

I was going to say, these "anarchists" are co-opting the name of an unrelated political movement to brand themselves as the anti-authoritarian left. It's not like they are going around quoting goldman and kropotkin at one another. If you have a complete lack of political education and you regularly attack "other leftists", well, you might not actually be a leftist at all.

I don't live in the US, and the anarchists (that I know) are generally engaged in grassroots political agitation and other organisations.
