I mean sure, good on the devs to sell it for a bunch of money, but it just sucks because it was a fun, wholesome, once-a-day thing to play. Now it's gonna be relegated to NYT subscriptions and just be a nothing.

I’m glad that he made money off it because it’s great. But I also think that Wordle was a unique non-capital driven thing that united a lot of very different people in a very hard year, something special and rare and generous. Fallout hacking helped train me for this game. I play on hello.wordl because you can play as many games as you want. Today though I got the word "petit" which pissed me off, it's only used in legal contexts and has effectively the same meaning as petty.
