Didn't you mean to ask about flowers?
That was a really good classism joke by Retail, lol.

I'm late to the discussion but only really gleaned it by osmosis anyway since Foob is a non-starter for me. Whenever I get lost or miss a turn as a driver, isn't the only thing you can do to adjust to the new area and wait for your chance to turn back? Was anything lost other than time? I don't see a hard need to punish the kid for anything short of car damage, police trouble(you know, he's speeding and gets a ticket, not police trouble in general heh), or being critically late like they needed the car back before they were late to something. But Foob! Gotta punish kids.

Just wanted to say it was a bit odd at first but Johnny Hazard has really grown on me, I love how affably evil and friendly-looking Umlaut is for a career criminal antagonist. The art is really crisp in general.

After the last checks calendar and mouths oh god several months of this storyline Phantom should just switch over to the adventures of Savarna, the by-a-mile coolest character in the strip. Even now the only thing keeping anyone reading this redundant tale is to see what she's about to do!

I'm back! You know what that means! A Pretty, 20 years old, Brunette girl!

One of them should kill the other, and I'm not sure if Kit should kill her, decide he can't hack doing that any more and do the whole dramatic doubts and failure of continuation thing, or if she should merk him and start a worldwide cat and mouse with the family.

She'll probably end up being his bodyguard.

It being the band, not the strip. "Funky Winkerbean" and "Les Moore" are names from when it was a goofy gag strip in a high school, yeah.

As a point... if the representation of Mexican people in this comic is starting to become a bit too suspect, I am ok with spoiling these posts accordingly. Please let me know your opinion.

Since I haven't had a chance to mention it yet this year, I think spoilering problematic images tends to make the thread tedious to read, especially when so many of the problematic elements aren't very visible. And that even when they aren't, timg tags work to the same purpose with a lot less fuss. But as to your example specifically I can't imagine the Mexicans will be any worse than the Indians, although I guess we'll find out.

Larson said his original caption was going to be "Look, but don't touch -- or the mother will throw it out" but in the last moments before his deadline, for some reason, he changed it to this, and people liked it. He says, "And I have always found that to be sort of interesting. Does this mean we all have a latent desire to stuff worms into a baby -- or is it just me?"
