I'm still trying to get my head around the loving algorithm in Absurdle.

Absurdle is actually completely deterministic, because of how it sorts possible answers and chooses the route with the most you can force it down certain routes with careful word selection. The creator of it gives an example on the "how this works" page of forcing it to give up in 4 moves, I don't think anyone has found a 3 or proved for sure that 4 is the fewest possible.
