Otherwise I feel like two would be a reasonable risk to take for getting two removal spells in land slots.

It's a very bad removal spell even if it's free.

I could be missing lifegain synergies but I still think Deadly Dispute is the better effect here, a lot of redundancy with this style of card in the last several sets with Plumb the Forbidden and Village Rites.
