If you experience any tenderness or pain in your abdomen, especially around your gall bladder, during these vomiting attacks please for your own benefit quit marijuana, it will absolutely eventually kill you, I lost 25 lbs last week from an attack, because I am a horrendous addict and fool, I am six days sober now and am finally somewhat recovering. This time around I fear I may have caused some kind of nerve damage by vomiting so violently because I can longer feel my right foot or move my toes.

there are a lot of random illnesses that can cause you to just vomit a ton. i have gastroparesis and it loving sucks, cant eat or drink anything without nausea. see a gastro specialist!!

Subjectively, the closest feeling I could approximate it to was the afterglow you get from sex or a really good workout, with an added level of spaciness. Not quite the same as either, but in the same ballpark. I found I had a bit of a dip about a week into the course, but then after that my mood was just on a constant upward slope session by session.

Huh, I didn't have any jaw issues during my TMS sessions, or any particular "afterglow". Interesting. For me it was a very subtle mood elevation over the course of treatment that I didn't really notice until later. It was in a really, really stressful time of my life, though--right after I started treatment, a tree fell on my house and my husband's car during a storm, I was having a slow motion nervous breakdown at work, and my headaches were about as bad as they'd ever been, but now, three years later, my mood is so much more even and I was able to reduce my meds and even stop taking a couple of them. It really does sound like quackery, though. "Let's put an electromagnet against your skull and zap your brain!" It was also very weird when they'd test the magnet position by making your fingers twitch.

Been looking at old maps for a writing project that incorporates "lost" and moved train stations and platforms etc (and some content from the distant past of this thread, thanks goons!) and came across this quasi-related nugget of other people getting curious about one of the more unusual stations locally, and the history of why it is the way that it is. Content warning for old timey infanticide: https://junkee.com/macdonaldtown-sydney-trains/319085 tl;dr for an article that has tiktok videos in it: Local train stations are historic and weird, one of the weirder ones occasionally gets people asking about it, turns out that early last century a local couple did so many horrific child murders which garnered such bad press that the town tried to literally rebrand itself almost out of existence, which combined with urban sprawl since leads to people in the present day asking "Why do the trains even stop here?" Probably only fascinating if you're hosed up enough to be really into true crime, or worse, the local history of trains and also trains in general.

Apparently someone impersonating a medical professional gained access to a youth detention facility and took oral swabs and personal information from the kids under the guise of COVID testing. I'm really hoping this ends up being some kind of mix up because I can't think of any reason someone would do it otherwise. Surely stealing that info from whoever has oversight over them would be easier and safer than manually collecting it. Hey guys, I have an odd request but I’m fairly certain this is the right place to ask: This popped up in the meme thread and I immediately knew I had seen this kid before. He’s a teenage inmate in a documentary of some sort. The teens all wear green polos and khaki pants. He’s in there for some really messed up stuff, so obviously seeing this meme’d up was a little jarring. Anyway I can’t remember or find the video it is from, but I’ve definitely seen it before.
