Yes I just noticed recently that the switch has an amazing catalog of shmups. If you've ever been interested in the genre at all pretty much every CAVE game was recently ported and nobody was really talking about it

https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/dodonpachi-resurrection-switch/ This is a great starting point if you want to get into the bullet hell super hard games, the recent ports have extra difficulty modes too so you can ramp up with multiple difficulties of "Novice" mode before trying to beat the game without using continues on the normal mode

Also the ports let you turn your switch sideways and use it as a vertical screen (since the games were designed for that originally)

this would be very timely for me as i have recently only been playing this type of poo poo on my switch, mostly inspired by the release of all those Cave games. i am terrible at these games but i love them. inti creates has one coming out later this month. I hope the Cave (RIP) releases do well so they can port some older stuff.
