Even with the patching, the awful gacha system still exists and that is irredeemably bad. Torna fixed a ton of the problems with the base game which gives me hope for the sequel. And considering the excellent qol updates in XC:DE, I think they have a chance to make something really incredible.

I think XB2 is good despite its flaws but XB1 is still just simply a better game. Also XB2 runs like garbage on my Switch which I definitely noticed after I tried to play it after XB1DE.
