New Kirby has me hyped. Looks so good.  Mouthfull mode is so dumb. I have never even heard of Live a Live, but it looks pretty sweet.

I'd buy Earthbound as a standalone title. I do not look forward to when the nintendo online emulator servers are shut down. Mario soccer is 5v5 but not a dota clone like pokemon dota. pass imo. Live a Live is kinda janky but I only played the fan translation 20 years ago. Do Rudra no Hihou with full dictionary support next please. Persona 5 remains unannounced

I realised I have the splatoon 2 DLC and I've never touched any of the single player content. I'm still trying to finish dread. I also realised I have barely touched Mario 3d world. I miss being a kid and having way too much time to waste on this poo poo

Short of a full remake that overhauls a lot of the pacing, dialogue, quests, spells, a good chunk of the combat, and so forth, I can't imagine being interested in playing it again.

I really like the first one and have been slowly playing it in like 30 hour chunks on and off. But the 2nd one seems so over the top with anime tiddies when I watch clips of it that it's kind of made me hesitant to play it. Maybe I'll get it finally, idk. X looks so cool, I wish they'd port it over.

Oh thank goodness I don't have to pay 40 some bucks to buy Radical Dreamers and never touch Chrono Cross. 15 to do that is much more reasonable.

Xenoblade 1 and 2 do have a connection, but it's not something that is vital to know to understand the basic plot of either one of them, X is the only completely unconnected one that we know of for right now. 3 seems to deal with the fallout from both games but is set far enough in the future where you might not need to have immediate knowledge of both to understand basic plot details, maybe, but it is a direct sequel to both

after sleeping on it a bit I feel like Switch Sports Online has massive gamer's implications thinking of all the goofballs in my life who could consistently bowl 300 games and what will happen now that these people can play each other online. the nation's dads will be in a fever pitch

For anyone interested in Earthbound, it's pretty well hidden in the online app but Nintendo has the original player's guide availible for download. It has tons of info and little clay models of the enemies and everything, it's definitely worth checking out even if you're a Pro Gamer who doesn't need a guide.

Even the first one, which is the best mostly on the strength of its music and being simple/straightforward enough that it doesn't drive you insane before the end. I basically didn't learn what half the combat systems in 2 did, and beat the game just fine. And the prequel had a much simpler system
