Majority rule is dangerous and should be overridden, which the US are one of the few nations to understand, also I am in the majority (despite any evidence to the contrary) and my views are being overridden, which goes against everything this country stands for.

A republic, in which each ethnic, racial, religious etc. group had an equal representation in senate, would be the best. Otherwise the racial majority group could dominate the nation which might result in bad things. Glad that Benny-Gee agrees.

Ah yes, Covid Mandates, which exist in a vacuum completely unrelated to covid itself, which isn't worth considering. With Biden in charge, US covid discourse has finally become identical to UK covid discourse, which is that we never mention or acknowledge the pandemic and only talk about mandates and restrictions, put in place for no reason but to be big grumpy meanies, I guess.

"Worst Olympic rings cartoon" needs to be a category for this year's Kellies, I think, even if the Olympics are only a small part of what's going to happen this year and there won't be any cartoons about it after they're over, it just seems like practically every political cartoonist has gone "Oh good, Olympics, just draw the rings as some bad things and boom, my job's done for the day."

I truly admire the optimism that anyone would care enough about a libertarian congressional candidate to make fun of them. For context, the best an actual libertarian candidate has ever done in a congressional race is around 33% of the vote, in a 2 person race.

It's pretty cool how for the last two years we've seen the same idiots saying things like "once the government gets control over us with these rules, they'll never give it back" and "you're a fool if you think these mandates and restrictions will ever lift. This is permanent." It's also cool how now that all those things they said would never happen are happening (albeit obviously prematurely) they've immediately forgotten ever saying that. Very cool! Also extremely conductive to honest, good faith political discussion.

Why is Rishi Sunak continuously portrayed as back-stabbing or preparing to backstab the prime minister? He's still part of the cabinet isn't he? It's not like that Cummings dude he did that outright. Is it just racism, like the sneaky minority is trying something dastardly, or is he actively undermining his supposed boss, yet avoiding to get fired, and still angling for the top job? I barely follow British politics, but it seems like something that keeps coming up.
