Agreed. I hated the character and everything it spawned but Aaron's run is brilliant and a ton of fun.

Wasn't there a Newspaper Thor at one point? I'd swear I remember that from growing up. At least in the Mon-Sat strips.

EDIT: Apparently my mind is making poo poo up again.

There was a quote about Ghost Rider that sums him up (I think it was in Wizard Magazine.)
Ghost Rider is 90% cool visual, 10% untapped potential.

Thor is a bit too successful to be a good Newspaper "hero".

Bring me the head of Auguste Escoffier.

I'm just going to presume that Spiderman's identity in the Newspaper universe is a widely known secret* and that Mole Man is rolling his eyes beneath the goggles.

*Peter thinks his secret is safe and 3J is oblivious to the obvious clues.

Did something happen to the original *SNAP* onomatopoeia that they had to put a square box around it?

Readers were probably wondering why his hand was exploding, because the visual effect is in the wrong place (as the snap comes from the palm, not the thumb and forefinger).

No, his fingers are glowing like Cable's eye and someone ran up and slapped a sticker on his nose. There should really be a *SLAP* onomatopoeia.

Wait Teen Titans go exists in the DC universe??

Does that mean Batman potentially watched a cartoon where Robin travelled back in time to murder his parents?

Every time some background gag like that or the Batman-themed restaurant from Tom King's Batman run pops up it makes me wonder about how and what kinds of superhero entertainment would exist in-universe. Like I could definitely see a show like TTG that lampoons superheroes existing (clearly some gags like the time travel murder would have to change) while stuff like BTAS that features Batman's secret identity couldn't. There could be plenty of merch since most heroes are secret and can't trademark their symbols/logos.

And those that can (e.g., Booster Gold) are in little danger of getting bootlegged.
