I once worked with a girl who told me The Wicker Man was the most hosed up, terrifying movie she ever saw. She talked about following the Genitorturers on tour, so I imagined this movie must’ve been crazy hosed up. I finally tracked it down and watched it, and it was a bunch of folk singing and then the ending, which wasn’t all that shocking to me.  And yes, this was before the Nic Cage movie.

I'm rewatching A Knight's Tale and it owns still. I think when I saw this as a kid it was the first time I heard we will rock you and the first time I saw sideboob Also the acting is much better when it's not filtered by extremely poo poo dubbing

The pope may be French but Jesus is English! I love that movie. It's goofy fun and probably closer to the way people actually lived than a lot of peasant misery movies and shows.
