I know there's been some dumb controversy because the NYT removed some words like WHORE and SLAVE and stuff, but the stupidest is yet to come. One of the words scheduled to be in the word of the day eventually in the original Wordle code is TRUMP, and that's gonna be a stupid day no matter which way they go, if they skip it or not. I suspect they'll just revamp and shuffle the word list entirely long before then though.

If it has the letter only once but you use it twice, it'll check first if either is the right spot (you'll get a green) and if not it'll make the first of the two guesses yellow, either way the redundant pick will be grey. Alternatively, if it has two of the letter but you were wrong with both spots they'll both be yellow like you saw, if you were right with 1 it'd be one green and one yellow. For today: Wordle 246 4/6 ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ ⬛⬛🟨⬛🟩 ⬛🟩🟨⬛⬛ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Pretty happy with that 4th guess, I only had three of the letters but had eliminated enough other things that I probably woulda been stumped if this wasn't it.
