Not to talk about posters, but some people strongly dislike that he's linked to the Atlantic Council, there have been multiple QCS threads calling for him to be permabanned.

If he posts anything but the most straight forward stuff it stirs up a hornet's nest.

Okay so the metric for mechanised warfare is this: in 1940/41 in France and Russia Guderian was driving his Panzers 20km a day at peak advance, which was mostly against zero opposition. In 2003 the US advance in Iraq, also for large portions cross country against zero organised opposition also averaged 20km per day.

Time hasn't really changed this, if you are doing 20km you are doing extremely well, if you are doing more than 20km that implies you are taking quite substantial risks to drive down a road fast and hope nobody shoots you. For day one advances those all look pretty reasonable for Russia.

Pretty happy that my initial assumption that ukraine wasn't going to go down without a very hard fight is turning out to be somewhat correct. I mean it's still anybody's game but this is excellent. I mean not having a mass casualty event or wiping out all the air defenses in the first 24 hours it is an unbelievable victory for the Ukrainian fight.

The longer this conflict drives on and the more sanctions go in the longer the ruble drops and nose dives the more likely it will be that Putin has to walk away. What I would worry about at this point is that zelinsky ends up agreeing to a ceasefire with Russia to save the country. However it could be that he's entertaining the idea to limit the Russian destruction of the country. As heavy bombing would cause zielinsky to turn face on the apossiblirt of ceasefire

Sorry for the misspellings, I am text to speeching as my hand hurts badly.

But seriously the fact that you crane is giving Russia such a run for their money is unbelievably amazing. I mean while they probably wouldn't be able to do this without the javelins and stingers and s*** it is a great telling of how dysfunctional the Russian military is post ussr. I know somebody's going to argue that the Russian military was never good and I agree with that but this is really taking the cake

i dont think Putin will walk away and while i think Ukraine will stand for a while(and definitely go full resistance/guerrilla when the army finally falls). he has been embarassed now and ghouls like him dont handle that well. i think the bombings tonight will be very bad and the russians are gonna not show any restraint anymore.

Russia should be VERY happy about their Southern operations. Elsewhere, it's hard to judge the degree to which they're cautiously advancing according to plan, or if they're actually facing opposition.

We have no idea to what degree any of this is not going along with what Russia had planned, with maybe the exception of their little Kiev airport debacle.

To be fair, this seems to be happening world-wide. Russia may have been first in line with all this though due to obvious historical context.

The Russian government has also been actively funding its own QAnon equivalents, both in the form of "news outlets" like RT, and in the form of troll farms.

RT is basically a QAnon booster at this point -- a lot of the "Q-pilled" far-right in the US and Canada are now taking in a steady stream of RT alongside the usual Fox News and co propaganda.

That debacle was a disaster. It's destroyed a highly trained Russian unit and stopped another Brigade from flying in and threatening the capital. It's probably slowed down what their entire plan that was to attack south from the border.
