whos that broooown posted:Yes? Don't just grab another person. He did the hand on the elbow thing in a handshake line - it was nothing aggressive or malicious. Given they have always been friendly in their previous interactions (like in the clip below) I don't think Gard was out of line to try and talk to him . Maybe he should have just not said anything at all to Howard, but trying to talk to someone doesn't excuse them going bonkers and punching someone 20 seconds later. https://twitter.com/ZachHeilprin/status/1495598900002107393 The punch is the only thing that actually matters - if there is no punch the little heated exchange barely makes news. Also, when Gard called the timeout Howard was so upset about he and his staff were doing the "play through" rolling their hands motion. CBS are the ones who cut away for a 30 second commercial break lol

This is kind of wild. KU destroyed K-State but the end of the game they couldn't buy a bucket. Texas Tech absolutely demolished OU last night. Just put them through the wringer. Wasn't even a good scoring night for TTU, the defense was just that suffocating. This team might be better, defensively, than the 2019 runner-up team. They do not have Owens as a rim protector but as a team are averaging a higher number of per game blocks than that team did, and are running 1-5 switching. The only thing that can beat this defense is a hot shooting 3 point specialist. We will give up 3 point shots, but they are going to be rushed because the Tech defense closes out fast. Offensively, that 2019 team has them beat. Culver was far more dangerous with the ball in his hands than anyone on this team, and Moretti and Mooney were both better from 3 than our top 3 point shooter (a very streaky Obanor). kayakyakr fucked around with this message at 18:37 on Feb 23, 2022 |

Rutgers beat Michigan and has a better record, a better quad 1 record and better conference record than Michigan and is ranked 50 spots lower in the NET. Must win game for both teams tonight.

I want Rutgers to win every single future game except for this one Rutgers's losses against Lafayette and UMass (teams ranked 315 and 173) are absolutely killing their resume - their bad losses are really bad losses. Completely different team coming out of the COVID pause and a typical pain to play against. Pretty good poo poo.

Two weeks ago, Iowa State had lost four in a row, including letting KSU come back from 15 down. I thought their tournament hopes were dashed. Now they’ve won four in a row and should be a lock probably around an 8 seed. Still miles better than where I thought they’d be in October.

Two games to play in the SEC and the top 4 are bunched tight Auburn 13-3 Arkansas 12-4 Tennessee 12-4 Kentucky 12-4 Auburn gonna be big favorites in their last two, but any slip up and the others are gonna pounce. If auburn were to slip, Arkansas @ Tennessee could decide it. Would be fun way to end the season.

TCU desperately needed that win against Texas Tech. With two game coming up against Kansas, they definitely weren’t a lock. They are probably in now, but if they lose out, they may be sitting out.

That loss, probably knocks TTU off the 2 line. Gonna need some more Saturday-like chaos to climb back up to it, considering Nova and Duke are the two that we'd be competing with. Probably kills any shot of us getting FW unless Purdue/Kentucky have a devastating close to the season.

I know 8 is a proper spot for Purdue - maybe even a little too high - but it's frustrating to be the biggest faller among the top 10 when our loss was on a last second three.

Tech survived a scare from KSU. Dunno why, but that team is built to give TTU fits. There's a far outside shot for Tech to wind up the Big XII champs. Needs ISU to beat Baylor in Waco and Kansas to lose two of @TCU, TCU, UT, who they play on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. The one thing Tech's team hasn't done well this year is win the road games that they're supposed to. KSU, OU, TCU, and ISU are all haunting us right now. Too much chaos to really predict where Tech ends up in the bracket now. Probably locked in a 3 with an outside shot at a 2. If Baylor & Kansas wind up 1's, it moves Tech to the bracket with Arizona as the #1 seed. That's probably Tech's best chance at the South region: an Arizona team that's seeded higher than Baylor.

This season really feels like we're gearing up for a wild tournament. There's a bunch of really good teams but they're all flawed and could be beaten by pretty much anyone who's halfway decent.
