Every day I'm shuffling!

Ask me about Tasmania!
Woohoo, Goon Golden Spoon is up to 7! One more would be great! (also, 3 or 5 or 7 or 9 more would also be pretty good.)

I have the bye account I can add at any time to make us even numbers, just want to wait for everyone who wants in first.

I've set the draft to Monday 14/3 6pm AEDT, mostly because it's a public holiday and the last day I have off work before the season starts on the Wednesday, but we could also do Saturday 12 or Sunday 13, or later on the Monday.

That Monday works well, but 6pm is a bit awkward. I'd prefer either 5pm or 8pm to work around family dinner time, but it's not that big a deal if others are happy.

They are called that. The North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos.

Half their homegames are (supposed) to be played in Tassie and they get Tasmania as a recruitment zone.

It was their bid to get into the competition ahead of other teams.

They are also undefeated in Tasmania, now near the end of their fourth season. I'd want to play there too with that record

Dees are within 4.4 percentage points of the Crows at the top of the ladder

Unfortunately, the Crows are playing the Saints in the final round and will probably curb stomp them, whereas the Dees are up against Carlton who will be trying to give themselves the best chance to sneak into finals (which is only a slim possibility I think?)

Yes, the final round, despite none of the top six playing each other, is actually shaping up as quite interesting as it pertains to finals spots!

Crows, Melbourne and Brisbane all have similar percentage, with Brisbane one match behind the other two. Crows play Saints, Melbourne play Carlton, Brisbane play Bulldogs. If either Crows or Melbourne were to lose, it would open the door for Brisbane to jump into the top 2. If Crows and Melbourne both win then there will be a percentage race for top spot. Melbourne play on Saturday, Crows on Sunday, so the Crows will know what they need to get. Brisbane plays last, so they will know if there is any opportunity to snatch second (or even first) spot.

With Melbourne and Brisbane the clear two form sides of the competition right now, the Crows will be really keen to finish top, as that will put them on a different side of the finals brackets. Whoever finishes top can't possibly face 2nd or 3rd until the grand final.

Meanwhile North and Freo both have very similar percentage and the same number of wins in 4th and 5th. Obviously finishing 4th is massive because you get a home final first up, so they'll both want to win their respective games by a big margin. You'd have to think North have the advantage there playing the Eagles, as opposed to Freo who will be playing a pissed off Gold Coast who are now out of contention for the finals. North play on Saturday, Freo on Sunday, so Freo will know what they need to get.

Meanwhile 6th spot is also still alive, with Collingwood only a draw ahead of the Bulldogs. If Collingwood lose to Richmond on Saturday, then the Bulldogs will play Brisbane on Sunday for a finals spot. Technically Carlton could also make it but their percentage is realistically too low, especially given they're playing Melbourne.

So Dees secure a top two finish for the first time in their AFLW history!

If the Crows beat St Kilda they will almost certainly finish top. If they can keep St Kilda to 35 or less then any win will do the job, otherwise the margin becomes relevant. Meanwhile a loss could see them fall to third place.

Emergencies can score if someone on your field doesn't play, bench is non-scoring and just spare player storage, ie a good spot to put a top player if they're out injured but you don't want to cut them because they'll be back
