If you have ADHD or other issues with your brain not producing enough dopamine then caffeine can have a paradoxical reaction of causing you to become sleepy. I often have a short black espresso after dinner because I find it helps me fall asleep :pseudo:

ADHD here, and yeah caffeine is just

Nothing to me. It does nothing. I dropped having any and the most I got was headaches from not having it.

I quit caffeine for like 6 months and had to go back on it because I would just get nothing done without stimulants in my body. Like drat it takes a lot of caffeine to make you feel 'energized' in any way with ADHD but it's probably the healthiest way to manage ADHD symptoms without prescription meds.

If you can, you really should get proper ADHD medication. I recently got a formal diagnosis and a proper medication regime and after a lifetime of struggling every single day and feeling like an alien amongst humans it is loving incredible to be able to function on a day to day basis instead of constantly wanting to die because my brain is a clown car full of idiots.

With me, I found that caffeine does help me stay awake, but only at "I'm so jittery I may vibrate through the floor" levels. In lower doses it doesn't wake me up, but oddly it does seem to increase my endurance. A cup of coffee before a long bike ride seems to significantly reduces my fatigue during the trip.

It does initially but patients find it far too embarrassing when the product loses its hold and the hair all breaks free at once, like the sound of a thousand doorstopper springs.

I'm the exact opposite, my hair starts getting rough to deal with by the time it grows out to even an inch long, so I just constantly keep it buzzed way down. Looking at that kid's hair just made me stressed out secondhand :sweatdrop:
