Not to step in this particular pile but in my experience with the modding scene, a disproportionately large number of both people who create and use video game mods are Russian (and homophobic, and it's not a coincidence, though most of them were polite about it when asking how they could turn off the gay people in my mods)

most horno visual novels have a sex-scene-free version, and only sell that version via steam. i read f:s/n through the old let's play thread which included some (all?) of the sex scenes, with the sex-words changed to be about dumb stuff, like food, and all i remember is they were interminably long. like, they had self-contained emotional arcs. like, c'mon guy. anais nin you ain't.

I will say, for Bethesda games at least, there are usually massive technical achievements in terms of what mods are capable of that were initiated by porn mod makers. Like, custom animations in mods only exist in TES games because of people trying to figure out how to depict graphic sex with their PC.

I quite like that mod that adds a bunch of really chunky anime parts for robots, because they still look robotic, so you can make stuff that is to anime as the music video for wynona's big brown beaver is to humans. I think it's this one? I don't kno if it's supposed to be horny but I think in practice it's more just creepy, but like, in a good way?
