It's a Ghost in the Shell map. But kind of a tame world war compared to most depictions, because otherwise the map would be something like this:

A number of them are "mobile" on skis and can be towed in order to move them away from threats like ice rifts forming as the ice slowly slides out to sea, but some of them seem to be more sedentary.
