All this talk of great Canadians and not one mention of Jim Duggan. For shame.

Oh poo poo, I forgot Gail Kim is Canadian too. And Luna! Not that Luna was a great technical wrestler, but one of my favorite characters and looks of all time.

Is that idiot actually giving out over ROH booking a match-up that people want to see on the big showcase return event that's been months in the making? :psyduck:

You are welcome in their holy places.
Even in the scenario where Delirious booked the match, surely TK would've had to have signed off on it?

Like honestly isn’t the Canadian argument pretty much Bret Hart vs Jericho at this point? Kenny doesn’t have the longevity yet right?

I think the only thing that hurts Kenny's chances are being in Japan for the vast majority of his career (although I'm starting to feel like he isn't getting enough credit for how well he made the transition to weekly TV)

Kenny's the #1 reason a competitor to WWE exists and one half of the best match ever according to Meltzer. How is it not Kenny at this point?

Kenny has done more than enough to be in that conversation. Still, Canada having 3 of the GOATs with Hart, Jericho, and Omega is one hell of a conversation to have.

His career is outside an area I'm comfortable talking about. I've seen nothing he did before the 80s and honestly very little 80s stuff too, JCP/WCW is a bit of a black spot for me

BAEST MODE!!!
If anyone doesn't have enough longevity it's Bret. His main event singles career lasted from late 92 to realistically speaking early 98 with a three month run on top in late 99.

Kenny's run on top started in August of 2016, so he has a couple of months on Bret now. Both obviously had their careers before that point too. But a lot of people will give Bret's run more weight or feel it was longer because they were kids back then and those were formative wrestling memories.

Thankfully I did not watch the WWF back then so I can view things objectively and say that Kenny's run is much better almost as good as the objective peak of wrestling when Lex Luger won the WCW title from Hulk Hogan on Nitro 100.
