It is Pocket and Pearl's Gotcha Day  They have been a part of our lives for one year now. how it started  https://i.imgur.com/vP3h1Nf.mp4   (I loving love this photo, Pocket has some damage to the sclera of his right eye so he occasionally gets droopy/lazy eyed, he also used to be able to wedge himself under the couch quite easily, but is a big chonko now) How it's going  https://i.imgur.com/9cMvg02.mp4  they will not let us pick them up, but Pearl is now sitting in laps and Pocket sleeps between us every night

penny was extremely mad about being put in the carrier but once we got outside she quieted down and mostly froze up while in the examining room  (down a pound from last time!) partner thinks she likes being outside and wants to buy a cat stroller and take her for walks

Actual vet update: bun is good, no weigh gain/loss over the year (just over 9lbs). We’re working with some constipation issues she’s been having but everything else is checking out well Weird bun update: is 26lbs, down from the 34lb she ballooned up to during covid. Everything else is good. Is a big dumb idiot who’ll follow anyone with treats. Wanted to get in carrier with bun.

Alby will let you pick him up, but not for very long, he takes pick up time to mean Shoulder time and will climb up you to perch on your shoulder.
