I mean, Canada was going to the World Cup in any case unless Costa Rica won the next two and picked up a +11 goal differential at the same time so... there's 'don't jinx it' but also 'in any realistic scenario, this is in the bag'.

Goal differential is the first tie breaker, but you'd need the final game to be played before you'd be absolutely sure...but again Canada has a big lead in that category as well.

Like, I know it pulls in more eyeballs to make this game the 'come see if Canada qualifies' one, but they already did under any reasonable scenario. Unless you think Cost Rica is gonna beat the Americans 9-0... and even that wouldn't be enough to knock us down to 4th

I remember going to see the Canadian Men's Team at BMO Field quite a few years back when we couldn't even compete with Honduras and were outnumbered in large parts of the stands by Hondurans. Those days are OVER in Canada.
