I just got my first record player and then realized my receiver didn’t have a preamp. So the preamp just came in the mail and this evening I’ll blaze it up and listen to my first record!

I'm keenly aware that you've had that tin whistle for literally years, but haven't played much. Which song did you learn? I will try to pick it up this weekend, and together you and I will stop procrastinating and find some time in between our busy lives and clingy families to begin our whistling journey. Anyone else is welcome to get on board!

Dropped my truck off at the body shop today. Some jerkoff rear ended me a few weeks ago. Need to get some food soon, and maybe skull a bit of piss, but I feel lovely from skulling some last night. I didn't even have that much, but I've had a fuckin headache all day so I might take it easy tonight.

Thanks! I've never really played an instrument or made a youtube, and both are really fun, even if I can only practice a few minutes a day in between work and dealing with a fussy child. Tin Whistles are super cheap too. I highly recommend getting one and trying it out. It complements drinking/pub life, and is very fitting for a Friday thread.
