Gave the demo for The Planet Crafter a shot, and I think it may genuinely be the worst game I've played since Starforge. Somehow it has Overwhelmingly Positive reviews, and I have no clue how. The whole game is an incremental idle game made with what looks like Unity public assets, running ridiculously poorly for what it is, with zero meaningful gameplay beyond "go gather random rocks that spawn on the ground, make our poorly-described machines to slowly tick up unlock counters, repeat". The game looks and feels like the developer's first and only video game was Subnautica and then they heard of idle games and decided "I want to make one!" in the only engine they understood. I wish time refunds existed, because I didn't spend a cent and still feel cheated for my time. God, I haven't been this unhappy with a game in a long time.

It's not proper dead, but its foothold is so tenuous after Valorant's launch that anything that intrudes on its remaining market share could butt it off the ledge completely.

Alright just gotta beat the last Ultimate Coliseum Cup Z or whatever and then I'm done with Kirby and the Forgotten land, which makes me sad- not disappointed with the world remix postgame bosses- decent bit of challenge as always for Kirby postgame stuff of course Kirby games aren't really about challenging you but it' a fun little bonus at the end to really let the gameplay/combat stretch its legs Maybe there'll be a little DLC sometime down the line or maybe I'll come back to it for a bit later on or just another game built off of this new 3D Kirby framework
