This is just a personal mod I use that I thought I’d share to the workshop. Basically, it’s undercities for dwarfs but it’s full of special dwarf buildings and they can only be built in mountain climates in allied cities. Also all the dwarfs have TIG OL’ BITTIES now

About those patch notes. A CA community manager posted a link for the notes on reddit.

The link 404s: https://www.totalwar.com/blog/tw-warhammer3-update110/

"That's what they all say!"
This is much more in character for the non-demon factions, and very appreciated.

Be’lakor

After completing the campaign, the player will now be given the option to banish Be’lakor. This will provide the following permanent benefits:

+3 Hero Capacity for all Heroes
+14 Hero and Lord recruit rank
+5 Winds of Magic per turn for all armies
+7 Control across all provinces
+25 Growth across all provinces
+15% Income across all provinces

EDIT: It may be a little too good. Be'lakor isn't that great a Lord. Who would keep him with this alternative?

To be fair who in character would keep Be'Lakor as a subordinate given an alternative of absolutely nothing?

One new change that I don’t think has ever been mentioned is that after you win the campaign, you can choose to permanently banish Be’lakor to gain a host of campaign bonuses. Efb

That technology that said it gave Khorne Flesh Hounds vanguard deployment, which they already had, that in actuality gave every unit vanguard deployment, has been changed to give Flesh Hounds Strider and extra charge bonus. IMO it’s a needed change, basically negating Khorne’s main weakness in many situations. I’m glad I finished my Legendary Skarbrand campaign before they implemented it :haw:

Yeah but on the other hand who cares if there are unbalanced rewards for winning the game. They've been way too careful in that regard before, so I'm not going to complain if a new bonus is too big.

wow, good for them on actually changing that. They should keep that up for all future patches/dlc.

In Three Kingdoms for example some of the "Recommended" first time campaigns eventually became hard as balls after patches and dlc, but the Recommended tag remained the same

So I had an idea for helping to catch evasive armies: Bombardment.

Every army would have a bombardment rating and an ordinance meter. Artillery in your army would contribute to the bombardment rating. For armies lacking in true artillery, some casters or flying units would get an equivalent effect.

The army would have a radius around it, and so long as a target army or settlement was within range you could bombard them. This would do "autoresolve" damage based on your bombardment rating (prioritizing slow and numerous units over cavalry or single entity monsters). Your ordinance meter would need to be at maximum to do this. After bombardment, you would need to build up the ordinance meter again (which is tied to replenishment) so you could not spam it constantly. You must be in normal March stance to use this ability, except for factions that have an underway equivalent which lets them target enemy armies also in the same stance. Bombardment prevents any further movement once used, though a sieging army can opt to attack afterwards.

When targeted by bombardment the target army can opt to retreat if they were in a stance that allows it and have not already retreated already once. If encamped or garrisoned they can also opt for counterbattery fire if their ordinance meter is full. Vs settlements the garrison and walls are damaged and replenishment is reduced.

Artillery involved in bombardment have their ammo penalized based on the state of the ordinance meter (if it's at half then the artillery starts with 50%, ammo) so you gamble on frontloading damage in exchange for the guns being fully spent in the next battle. Since it's tied to replenishment you'd have to be careful about when to use it in hostile territory.

Some settlements/buildings would let the settlement itself use bombardment which could target hostile armies anywhere in the settlement to harass raiders or sieging armies. The range and damage of army based bombardment would vary by race. Black Arks and Pirate Ships would have a built in effect.

If anyone else is sick of seeing the same drat names duplicated for Lords and Heroes in Warhammer3, I made a mod that adds like 3,500+ lore appropriate names.

It was pretty funny to see a machine learning algorithm learn how to make Ogre names, but I reviewed all of them to make sure nothing too crazy went in. I really like the Nurgle names the most I think. Some factions have double or triple the amount of names from the vanilla game. This is just for first names for now, eventually I want to expand to last names/family names as well.

Adds in population to areas which changes how public order and replenishment works.

quote:

Armies possess several new statistics - rations, morale and fatigue. Morale tracks what an army has been doing and applies a buff or debuff to leadership based on that. Armies become fatigued from fighting multiple battles and can start new battles winded or tired if fatigue drops too low. Rations are used to recover fatigue at the start of a new turn and are gained by spending time in friendly territory or raiding enemies. Additionally ranged units will carry their ammo usage over to the campaign, and only recover their ammo at the start of the next turn by consuming rations.
