My daughter is being sent home from school, sore throat and fever..generally not feeling well. We’re all fine and she hasn’t been anywhere that we haven’t gone, always wearing a mask. I’m hoping it’s just a cold but we’re getting her tested now and wearing masks in the house just to be safe. She hasn’t been sick in months. I’m thinking she got something from her brother again who’s at a small daycare but he’s been a little congested lately with a cough.

Reminded that around this time last year the Biden admin effectively prevented the publication of effective OSHA regulations that would have treated COVID as a serious workplace hazard. There were some pretty good write-ups at the time of how that happened and if we're compiling lists of pandemic crimes that definitely belongs.

Hashy posted:You should be washing your hands as a preventative measure for covid Yeah. From what I've read, China is concerned because this has actually happened there. Here we're doing COVID 100 so we don't care about minor things like washing hands or wearing masks, but if you're trying to prevent even a single case of COVID like China is, they're also concerned with the lesser forms of transmission too.
