My favorite Art Bell moment actually was about a week after he moved to KFI in Los Angeles, Phil Hendrie (who was working the evening shift at the time) did a spot on impression of him and basically parodied the famous call from the airplane with a guy launching a space craft. Art said at some point it was one of the funniest thing he heard.

The "save the girlfriend" twist was pretty nice at the time. I don't really remember liking the combat overall but the idea of dying and going to a spirit world where you had to fight to get back into the real world rather than just straight getting a game over was a fun twist.
