Speaking of Adam Ragusea, I've noticed something in his oeuvre, which bothers me a bit - which is that it's very obvious that he has an interest in scientific understanding but that he hasn't done a whole lot of scientific study, and as a result hasn't been exposed to scientific rigor to the point that he applies it to his script writing. For a specific example, look no further than his latest video about alcohol: In it, he uses the words poison and toxic interchangeably, and also states (or at least heavily implies) that yeast dies because of the alcohol they excrete, which in turn relates to how the vast majority of microorganisms that form a yeast in brewing will die out as a result of being crowded out by other microorganisms (sometimes known as the yeast growth law or the Malthusian growth model), or the simple fact that anything has a median lethal dose. The latter of these, incidentally, leads to the utterly silly concept that, if you magically couldn't die from over-eating bananas and you kept on eating them, you'd eventually die from acute radiation exposure, as the potassium in them emits ionizing radiation in the form of β-particles. It's rare that a gaming YouTuber will be even a competent writer, let alone a good one like Noah Gervais. The prose and authorial voice is the appeal -- I'll forgive him occasionally mispronouncing the second definition of a three-dollar word because I'm just thankful the word is in the right place. I'm firmly with you that Sellers is in the most absurd moment of the game, but my candidate is a little into disc 2: the incident where you get to the center of a massive battleship and he just sasses you endlessly, tells you "this was a trap, dummies", exposits at how loving bad Jr. is at family and seeing the obvious, and then he floats away and goes "you expected a boss fight? I'm a dude in a wheelchair, gently caress off" and hovers out of your range into the sky.

fun hater posted:full automation is a pipe dream it could be done if billionaires could accept things being done by trains, or being done slightly slower for safety reasons, but those are thankfully impossibilities. it might also be possible if it was a government led venture that all car manufacturers had to implement, but that way no one's getting rich off of customer data so that's also an impossibility. (by that I mean if you weren't just relying on the camera and processing power of your own car, but all of the vehicles around you as well as city infrastructure, it might be doable. alas.)

Once the video is demonitised, in addition to not getting any adbucks for it the video will not be recommended to anyone's feeds, and so gets very few new views. Going Patreon only can work if you have an established audience but it becomes much, much, much, harder to build a new audience or continue to grow an old one if you make content that regularly gets demonitised by Youtube.

Say if another theme park turns out to be an Action Park death trap.
