Also, mine said the same thing yesterday as both a healer and a DPS, (or, rather, 27 and 24 minutes respectively) but my DPS queue popped really quickly, so maybe take that with a grain of salt.

I forgot to take a picture of my main card but didn't do anything clever with it yet anyway. So instead here's Soldier 76 leading a team of wabbits to save the Easter payload from the dastardly Astra team. My first frontline was fun, went in as dancer because its the longest range class I had experience with and hotkeys set up for so far. We did pretty well securing a solid second after a rough start and got sandwiched between the two enemy forces way too often. I think I prefer the breakneck 5 minute new mode win or lose but I'll start grabbing that daily frontline duty xp for my leveling classes. Warrior's pvp skill where you yank someone to you then heavy them, is that supposed to be on a delay or was I lagging? I played 3 matches as one and every time I used that I'd see the tether go out, they'd get slowed but still be doing whatever, then a second or two later they'd sail through the air towards me and immediately run off again with the heavy wearing off as they got to me.

Got to try CC and I love it so much. This is a million times better than the Feast. I've tried three jobs so far. MCH is so-so, I love PLD and I don't like WAR at all. I'll try a few more over the next few days. I've already gotten /determined and I bought the MCH goggles because you can dye the lenses finally and not the frames.

After some finagling and tips from the thread and friends I've settled on a hud for CC as well I've got some important quick chats (pushing forward/falling back) on mouse buttons, some out of combat ones (Hello, Good Match, Nice job, and Sorry) to the right where I can click on them as necessary, and the pull back/regroup chat command on alt+3. Icarus macros for the rest of my party members, although I don't really use them to target a specific person more than just "I'm about to get swarmed, lemme smash these and hope someone's in range to get me out". LB status on a modifier above my actual LB button so that they share a purpose. Put the enemy party frame above the friendly party frame and make my party's frame smaller, primarily because as sage I don't really need to target anyone outside of switching who has Kardia, which I don't need the full frame to judge who needs it. The map info/round info is far away so it's a ton of eye movement to check but I don't check it outside of when I have downtime. Thankfully there's separate HUD elements for CC party than normal party. Also can I say that the Sage LB is bonkers when used right. I've used it to poison enemies on the 50% holding point and get them off, to protect my team while pushing (especially since you're allowed to move it once), and it's invaluable when there's a lot of ranged in the enemy group because there's nothing funnier than invalidating MCH LBs or even bomb self-destructs in the volcano zone. i understand this from a wow player perspective of "if someone beats you in pvp the standard etiquette is to make an alt on their server/faction and dm slurs at them" but generally reports on people like that actually get acted on so nobody in 14 does it, at least not in game. (they might on reddit)

Done a lot of CC since the patch went live. Series level 15, bounce back and forth between ranked and casual. Almost made it to silver but then didn't, such as life. My current takes is that the mode is fun but there's definitely clear winners and losers in terms of job balance. Warrior and Samurai in particular are obscenely busted. I have no idea why you would play any other tank or melee dps, and I've been trying them.15 second aoe stun on warrior, effectively 7 second cd aoe bind on samurai and also samurai has the biggest lol I just no effort killed your team limit break out of everyone (at least until people figure out what not to do to live). The amount of CC across the board is also kinda unreasonable, but really they just need to make bind work like it does in every other mmo and have it prevent you from moving and not from turning. Taking the Stun off primal rend (or making it single target) will also go a long way to making things feel less lovely. On the whole, I am fairly impressed by the balance. Minus these 2 jobs it mostly seems reasonable. Although reaper is a dumpsterfire. But it was a dumpsterfire before the revamp too so no surprise there. I love playing PLD in pvp because it doesn't matter if they decide to focus the healer first, they're going to be forced to focus me instead  Just a lovely little stun goblin running interference on the enemy team.
