on behalf of the transes it is generally acceptable yes, and couples doing gender-swapped couples costumes is gonna be fine 99% of the time

E: Is Deee-lite the name of the group? I (and im fairly certain my daughter as well) only know them for "Groove is in the Heart", and only because it's featured in an episode of How I Met Your Mother.
