Maybe we could all drop it. Offsite drama is a matter for offsites to deal with. Rime has posted bad things in the past but their current posting in this thread has been generally fine. That said, Rime it is annoying that you're ending many of your posts by insinuating that they're intended to anger nonspecific Liberals in this thread for some reason so maybe you could drop that too, especially if it is also linked to being angry about something that happened offsite. Thanks everyone.

Vague, unsubstantiated accusations of irrelevant offsite drama from a handful of accounts (one of which hadn't posted in this thread in over a year), who clearly have a personal grudge against me, sure is a fun thing to repeatedly derail with.

I've not personally attacked anyone in this thread, instead just posting about political matters which are increasingly causing our most vulnerable populations to suffer, it is unfortunate that the same respect isn't being shown in return. :(

E: That this derail / attack on me is evidently being coordinated on an offsite Discord suuuuure is a thing, tho.

Not directed at anyone, as outlined in my first post about Poilievre's tactics said posts are expressing a generalized state of despair at Canadian society since re-integrating with it this winter and the extreme challenges which the ramifications of this behavior is presenting my family. That being said, I'll knock it off, I legitimately have no idea why these goons have been so triggered by it and I hope they find some empathy moving forwards.

When someone opens up and talks about their mother contemplating suicide due to the crisis's this country is in, to decide to gang up and accuse them of racism is legitimately psychotic and a throwback to an era of behavior which I thought SA had put behind it.

Thank you for agreeing to knock it off, I appreciate it. I'm sorry you and your mother are going through a difficult time like that but I understand that kind of despair at the current state of affairs and I know it doesn't always manifest in healthy ways. I obviously don't know the details but I hope everyone involved ends up in a better place.

Glad to see you're willing to improve, hopefully you've put the racism from a week ago and throughout the history of this site behind you as well and are no longer a racist. That would be a rapid transformation worth admiration.

I feel like the Greens always go up between elections and then drop during actual election campaigns when people realize that voting for them means voting for the actual Green Party of Canada and not for the platonic ideal of environmentalism.

The previous poll was a low outlier and this one is probably high. Nothing really changed that significantly (that's probably a provincial motto somewhere).

It shows the change since the last election so this is them just going back to normal polling numbers really.

Oh, duh. Well, the Greens lost 4% of the vote in the last election, so 5-6% is more their natural baseline when not not running a disastrous campaign with candidates having public Twitter wars with their leader.

Square slices is actually Detroit style (Buddy's Pizza), Chicago is a round deep dish (Lou Malnatti's). But I love both styles of pizza, sauce on top ftw.

Liberals frequently resort to ostracism because liberalism is at its core a moralist ideology. Liberalism rejects material bases for not only ideologies, but also opinions, and therefore if someone has a bad or incorrect opinion, it must therefore mean that they are at their core a bad person. This is wrong. Most people with incorrect ideas are the victims of ideological obfuscation, or a lack of ideological clarity, and can be gently but firmly corrected. Their incorrect views can be excised with the twin scalpels of Scientific Socialism and Leninist party discipline. If Rime made an ideologically incorrect post, he should have been made to write a self-criticism by a forum commissar.
