NOAH Majestic ~ N-Innovation ~ April 29th MOTYC Ninja Mack vs Dragon Bane vs Alpha Wolf - Jesus gently caress, flips for days. This was lacking a bit in selling but made up for it by being completely insane. If you only watch one match on this card make it this one, a ridiculous 3way match HM Slex vs Yasutaka Yano - This was great, Slex gave Yano an absolute ton for the gap in both size and experience Nioh vs Haoh - Not as good as the match when they first broke up, but still a very well fought match with a ton of heat NOAH Jr Army (Daisuke Harada, Junta MIyawaki and Alejandro) vs Z-Brats (Shun Skywalker, SB KENTo and HYO) - Fun display of the Dragon Gate guys that dragged a bit in the middle but had a great last 5 minutes

MOTYC 31st March Wrestlecon Mark Hitchcock Memorial Show Bandido vs Mike Bailey I want to be snarky because it's pure indy spotfest, but everything is so clean and just *boom boom boom* pacing that means you can't look away or you miss something jawdropping. It's quintessential Wrestlemania weekend where there's no stakes, match just happens because it'll be fun. And it delivers that and some more. The full minute long stalling suplex position spot, the Asai moonsault, honestly too many spots to single out. If you just want to be entertained by wrestlers doing insane poo poo then this is must watch. Is there maybe too many finisher kickouts? Sure. And were there moments that looker millimetres from disaster? Yes, absolutely. But it's Wrestlemania weekend, you gotta go overkill to standout with 1,000 shows in 5 days. This is about as good a representation of the indy overkill spotfest I've seen and I'm this close from just going ***** on it. They nailed what they were going for.

Still a ***˝ match though.

AJPW Champion Carnival Night 8 April 29th MOTYC Kento Miyahara vs Yuma Aoyagi - Yuma Aoyagi is a goddamn star, he's gone from the other heavyweight member of NEXTREAM to a proper main eventer in the time i've been watching and it's great to see. Kento is Kento, dude is a loving beast that nobody sees because he's in All Japan, and at only 33 he's got a lot of years left HM Kuma Arashi vs Takuya Nomura - I already knew Nomura ruled but Kuma has impressed me this tournament as a singles guys. Neither guy's best tournament match (which were both with Kento) but still well worth the time

MOTYC: Arisa Nakajima vs. Tsukasa Fujimoto - SEAdLINNNG Golden Moment (4/29) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YRt1uXu1SKQ When you have a match with your best friend, there are three ways you can go about it, you can fool around with shenanigans like TAKA and Taichi, you can have a competitive but respectful match like FTR, or like Arisa and Tsukka you can take the third option and commit attempted murder on each other and then hug it out after. This was an absolute brutal war between two of the best wrestlers in the world, the original Best Friends, and it made me all the sadder that Tsukka will be gone for a long time soon. Also they went out and wrestled each other again the next day. (This one was better though because they wrestled the SEAdLINNNG house style and today's was more Ice Ribbon) MOTYC: Las Fresas de Egoistas (Asuka & Makoto) (c) vs. Yoshiko & Ryo Mizunami for the Beyond the SEA Tag Team Championship - SEAdLINNNG Goldem Moment (4/29) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CAAj_k_QtNk Yes, that is Yoshiko, I didn't make a mistake. It's probably a stretch to call SEAdLINNNG's tag division one of the best in the world because there's only two active regular tag teams and they're in the same faction, but for my money they have the best big tag team title matches in the world, and that is in no small part to the hard work Asuka and Makoto have put in. Makoto is once again the workhorse of the match and has gone from being pretty awful in Ice Ribbon and Reina to one of my favourite wrestlers in the world in SEAdLINNNG.

NOAH Majestic April 30th MOTYC Sugiura-gun (Takashi Sugiura and Hideki Suzuki) (c) vs Kongoh (Kenoh and Katsuhiko Nakajima) - GHC Team Team Championships - This is exactly the style of match I love, these guys had no issue battering the absolute poo poo out of each other Kaito Kiyomiya vs Go Shiozaki - GHC Heavyweight Championship - This went half an hour and absolutely flew by as these two completely brutalised each other. Go's chops are the loudest thing in wrestling and absolutely pulverised Kaito's chest, who responded in kind. It's nice to have a GHC title match without an immobile old man HM Masakatsu Funaki (c) vs Simon Gotch - GHC National Championship - My favourite Funaki defence, some great grapplefucking here. Just avoid the English commentary Naomichi Marufuji and X vs Kinya Okada and Yoshiki Inamura - Whole lot of beef being thrown about here which I love, even if I didn't for a second think X and Fuji were losing
