There are a lot of different variants, because there is no one official "Simpsons font." All of them are based on Matt Groening's hand lettering. The one that Frinkiac uses is called Akbar.

yeah, your suggestions on the quote source are good. might just be the burning donut if it helps, I vaguely associate the phrase with 1. the "to a FOSter HOOOooome" guy, 2. maybe there's a finger pointing, and 3. some non-Frink scientists

Yeah but Fox haven’t gone “here you go internet this is simpsonsfont.ttf” so there’s no official one, but there are a billion lookalikes nerds have made so they can type their own things in as close a font as possible.
