I love both Shadows games but ya didn't finished Shadows of War even with like 80 hours into it. I kept loving around with the nemesis systems and doing random poo poo in the overworld I would still highly recommend it I will say that I didn't finish Arkham Knight with a ton of play in that too. It's cool to mess around in those games. After a point you master the systems and become an untouchable god of death. then you're just kinda done?

I thought Shadow of Mordor was really boring because the orc control mechanics kicked in so late. Shadow of War on the other hand I loved despite the serious issues with uneven difficulty.

I enjoyed carving my way through the orcs during the first half of Mordor, but once it turned into orc pokemon I just didn't enjoy it as much. With War I fell off even faster.

Is anyone else noticing that the actual prices and buy buttons are gone from most of the games on Steam? Is this just a me issue? I went to check out Rogue Legacy 2's store page and it just didn't have it. Same for like 80% of the other games on the store page It happens even incognito mode so it's not some weird account thing either:

Nthing the sentiment of "Love Shadow of Mordor, didn't finish the sequel". It's like a fabulous example of "sometimes more is just less", there was a lot of content there but the game peaked early and after I unwittingly touched some of the stuff aimed at keeping people grinding forever (that awful duel system...), it sapped any momentum and pacing and my willingness to do it all again in a new castle. If anyone else is interested in this game, I'd suggest playing the demo, as it's the first open-world area fully unlimited. You get the good 90% of the game for literally free.

drat I've seen a lot Steam crashes and sales breaking the UI but this is nuts. I had a weird game in my recommended line up, Carnal Instinct, the 3rd person egyptian arpg porn game, touting it's latest update and it hasn't been touched since Feb. Also is getting recommended since it's similar to games I've played such as Witcher 3 and Elden Ring. Kind of a hearty lol at another 'serious' attempt to make a sex game. Pretty sure Subverse is struggling to stay afloat financially and was criticized pretty hard on the early release because the sex stuff was too boring. On checking, it's basically at the point of "mostly negative" recent reviews but it seems to be review bombs from something 'offensive' a dev was removed from the project for and something else China related.

There are modern games that look much better and need half that space, plus bandwidth limits have become more or a thing in the past few years. Good lord, the demo even touts the same size!
