Lol well this is a problem. idk if it's vain but I've often thought of myself as Crazier than Rime(tm), seeing as I have a firmly held, near-religious belief that life is kind of a big deal, and that we should probably not end it all. We are ending it all though, so how to stop? We all know there's no such thing as actual effective carbon capture and storage relative to the scale of the problem, and that there is also no nerve stapling technology that would allow us to enslave all of humanity into planting trees for thousands of years while maintaining the level of aerosols necessary to prevent a temperature spike and runaway (to say nothing of the trees already burning down), and that capitalism already plans to produce a murderous amount of plastic quite soon. We're hosed. The logical conclusion is this, and it rattles around in my head most days: The only actual move remaining in our hand that uses real-world technology and could prevent in time what is probably going to be the end of mammals birds and amphibians is the prompt and orderly nuclear destruction of every city and industrial region on Earth. The mods must launch the nukes, it is their duty.
