The Kill James Bond podcast related a story from the original (farcical) Casino Royale: Peter Sellers is playing James Bond and specifically seeks out Welles to play Le Chiffre to have an *~actor~* to act against in the casino scene. So they get him, but the day he shows up, Princess Margaret happens to visit the set. Sellers goes Full Bootlicker and just about prostrates himself to her. I cannot overstate how much he is trying to ingratiate himself to her in the most grovelling way possible. Meanwhile, Princess Margaret proceeds to ignore his beta rear end and goes right up to Welles and is like, "Orson! It's only been a few weeks since I saw you at your place! I didn't know you were here." She chats to great extent with Welles, who pals around with her like their thick as thieves. So Sellers throws a loving temper tantrum, says he will not share a room with Welles, and storms off set.  Welles manages to be a catty bitch by accident and then leans into it. Such a power move.
